If you are interested in signing up with AAA for Auto insurance, you may want to get an idea of how much your quote will be and the good thing about this is that you can easily do it online. You won’t have to walk to their office or talk face to face with an insurance agent. You can do it at the comfort of your own house. You will just need a stable internet connection, information about your vehicle, and a device that can connect you to their website.
Once you are in their website, look for the blue “Get A Quote” button. Make sure that you selected the AUTO in the drop down menu. You will then be asked if you are already an AAA member, meaning you have an AAA account that you can log into, or you can choose to continue as a guest. Signing up with them just to check on your quote isn’t necessary. After you have chosen your how you will be signing in as, you will be brought over to a page where you will be asked to fill up with your information first.
On this first page, you will be asked for your full name, your home address, apartment unit, the city that you life in, state that you are residing at, the zip code of your state, your contact number, and e-mail address. It would be best if you are familiar with what they will be asking of you so you can fill up the form quickly. They will also ask if the vehicles you want insured are kept in the address that you just filled in as your home. You will also be required to input how many residents are in your household. Be sure to include drivers, children, and even roommates. The form will also ask if you reside out of the state more than two months per year. You will then be asked if it is okay for AAA and other carriers that are affiliated with them to use the information that you have provided to help them offer you an accurate online quote. You can choose yes, or no and they will provide you with other options. Once you are done, be sure to click the done button at the bottom of the page.
On the next page, the website will ask you for more information that can enable you to get a discount. You will be asked for your residence type, current home insurance company (if you have one), the expiration of the said homeowners policy, how many years you have been staying at your current address. They will also ask you have you have heard of AAA Insurance. There is already a promotion code inputted so no need to fuss up about this one. Finally, you will be asked if you are interested in participating in a program that will monitor your driving habits which could eventually lead you to get a discount. Once you are done, be sure to click next.
On the third page, you will be asked to give information about the vehicle that you want insured. Take note of your vehicle’s year, make, model, body style, vehicle cost new, if your car has anti-lock brakes and anti-theft devices. You should also take note of the vehicle is owned or leased and the number of years. Don’t forget the miles to work or school in a day because the form will also ask you this. Days per week that you are using the car to drive to school or work, annual mileage, if the vehicle is registered to applicant or to a spouse, vehicle usage, and garaging address. Once done, be sure to click on next.
You will then be brought to the page where you will have to fill up information on the driver. Are you driving the car or do you have someone else who drives it for you? if you have a son or a daughter, is he or she using the car as well? Once you are done, be sure to click on next. After that, you will be asked to fill up if the driver or you have been involved in accidents or traffic violations for a certain number of years. It would help you to be honest while filling this up. And second to the last, you will be choosing the coverage that you want for you car insurance. This will then allow them to reach the final stage which is being ready with your auto insurance quote. It’s so easy right?
